Smarter through data visualization

Visualization of all data including all e-commerce data.

BALR. offers a true omnichannel experience, where online sales are responsible for the majority of sales, directly followed by shop-in-shop stores and flagship stores. BALR. was 'only' founded in 2013, which means they are not faced with IT legacy that other retailers have to deal with to create a multichannel, integrated customer journey.

Thomas van Mastbergen, head of digital marketing at BALR: “Our IT infrastructure has been designed to be omnichannel from the start. We use the best technologies for business-critical processes such as e-commerce and the supply chain.

For data visualization, we selected an open source solution, Kibana, which is connected to our e-commerce system. However, we realized that if we wanted to become smarter, we needed to visualize all of our data, not just the transaction and customer data from our e-commerce system.
