Dommerholt Advocaten, with locations in Apeldoorn, Heerenveen, and Zwolle, is a full-service law firm specializing in the business market. With more than 30 lawyers, they offer all specialties.
Although they have been using Aderant's legal software for a long time, they lacked satisfactory reporting and analysis capabilities. Martijn Diersmann, IT manager at Dommerholt Advocaten, explains: "To better understand our business performance, we had to compile manual reports, often using different tools and teams."
Professionalization of reporting and analysis processes
The IT department used Microsoft Reporting Services for reports, while the finance team heavily relied on Microsoft Excel. These processes were slow due to large datasets, leading to the absence of a central source of truth.
